Welcome to the new Sponge Knowledge Platform developed under SpongeScapes project. The current version took as a basis the NWRM website and update its main content.
What you will find here is updated knowledge on NWRM and Sponge measures and their use:
- the catalogue of measures (now named sponge measures),
- the catalogue of case studies implementing these measures,
- and its associated sources of information,
- the glossary of terms (ontology) used in the NWRM and Sponge community.
This website will progressively replace the NWRM website, providing updated and scientific backed evidence for applying NWRM and Sponge measures in a European context and beyond.
This version is the first release of the updated content and you will find in particular a new catalogue of measures introducing some new measures and providing a set of filters, all NWRM case studies updated with the latest (2025) content for these cases and new case studies. We will progressively update and add content in the coming 3 years, in particular new case studies.
