The OPTAIN Learning Environment addresses a broad range of stakeholders involved in water and nutrient management in agricultural landscapes. Rather than promoting field implementation of Natural Small Water Retention Measures (NSWRM), the platform provides model-based evidence, scenario analyses, and optimisation results to support informed dialogue and planning processes.

Different stakeholder groups benefit from access to harmonised modelling outputs, comparative analyses across case studies, and structured explanations of NSWRM performance under current and future climate conditions.
