Abstract
This undergraduate thesis investigates the water quality of Lake Kastoria (Orestiada), a shallow natural lake in Western Macedonia. It assesses a range of parameters—organoleptic, physicochemical, biological, and nutrients—to characterize eutrophication status and overall water quality, providing insight into pollution pressures and ecological integrity.
