Launched in 2023, LIFE TRŠCA focuses on marsh habitat management to conserve waterfowl species like ferruginous duck and red‑necked grebe in the Cerknica Lake area. It implements adjusted mowing regimes, biomass removal and valorisation trials, disturbance reduction, and enhanced monitoring, combining field methods with satellite data to ensure sustainable, biodiversity-focused wetland management.
