Abstract
Technical paper presenting hydrological diagnosis and design options for restoring Gerai Pond. Uses HEC-RAS modelling (2006 hydrographs) to define optimal water levels and connectivity; proposes control structures and feeder canal to extend water residence for target birds (Aythya nyroca, Microcarbo pygmaeus). Context on past drainage works and vegetation/habitat.
