Synthesis of INCDPM sturgeon monitoring in the lower Danube. Notes intensive monitoring at Bala; with the Bala bottom sill at 0 MNC, tagged sturgeons could pass; discusses broader pressures (dams, poaching) and monitoring methods (ultrasonic tagging, hydrodynamics, water quality).
