Abstract
Non-academic summary of the Nummela wetlands as ecosystem-based measures for urban flood/quality issues. Describes two wetlands in a 550-ha watershed, quick plant self-establishment, annual ~10% TP reduction at Gateway despite small area, and trade-offs with open-water for amenity.
