Abstract
Island-wide “atlas” reassessing 1991–2000 groundwater balances for Cyprus aquifers. Defines replenishment and outflow terms, estimates sustainable extraction, flags over-pumping and seawater intrusion risks, and recommends monitoring/management steps aligned with the nascent EU Water Framework Directive.
