Abstract
The municipal HWDP sets an integrated strategy for retention, infiltration, buffering and controlled discharge across Voeren. It inventories existing buffers and priority sub-catchments, and guides future measures and funding. For Horstergrub, the plan explicitly lists an “erosiebuffer op Horstergrub” with ~30,600 m² area, situating it within current flood/erosion actions and providing policy backing for maintenance or upgrades.
