Short Description

You will find in this section all the case studies that are implementing sponge measures, and linked to the sponge measures catalogue. They have progressively been collected along various projects and here are some further details:

A significant number (140) were gathered by the NWRM project (back in 2014-2015) and updated in 2025 under the SpongeScapes project. New case studies have been added recently: the 14 on which the SpongeScapes partners are working more, but also other relevant cases gathered during the SpongeScapes project in 2025, or cases from Horizon project OPTAIN.

We will progressively update the SpongeScapes cases and add new cases during 2026.

Navigation Hint

The top header menu includes helpers and view/toggle buttons to navigate the structure and add content if permitted.
