Abstract
Gullies pose many threats to farmland, including the removal of fertile topsoil, damage to infrastructure, danger to livestock, and decreased water quality. Also, due to loss of protective vegetation, erosion can increase after wildfire.
Gully stuffing can reduce water velocity, catch sediment and organic material, and stabilize the banks. This practice also raises the water table, improving resilience to wildfire.
The website also proposes a bibliography regarding gully stuffing
